Great win for the PCIH

Our congratulations to the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health’s mobile oral health service, whom earlier this week was awarded the Community Engagement accolade at this year’s Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards.

The Varley Group, producers of the custom vehicle fitout that the PCIH utilises for dental consultation and care, was proud to be acknowledged as partners of the mobile oral health initiative.

Varley Specialised Vehicles equipped the Poche Centre with a fully equipped mobile dental laboratory capable of producing:

  • Full dentures
  • Denture repair
  • Mouth guards
  • OPG X-ray unit
  • Remote operation

As a result, the PCIH now possess unique mobile dental and laboratory facilities which are able to provide the best dentistry available anywhere in the state to many individuals whom have waited upwards of six-years for such care.

Mobile oral health is a significantly developing industry that is revolutionising national dental healthcare, and the innovative team at the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health is now certified as genuine leaders in this exciting marketplace.

Our immense compliments go to all involved with the initiative, and we look forward to being part of the mobile health industry’s exciting future.
