Varley Group Managing Director, Jeff Phillips and Marketing Coordinator, Dean Wiggins were pleased to present to the Ai Group Hunter Industry Leaders Council this week on the benefits of social media for the Company.
Since our move into the social media scene approximately 12 months ago, Varley Group have utilised a variety of channels (including this very channel that you’re reading now) to enhance engagement and communications with employees, customers, suppliers and other friends of the business.
In a globalising and heavily technological world, social media offers a value-for-money, widely accessible and easy-to-use platform for all businesses, regardless of their specific industry or marketplace. Jeff and Dean explained that businesses in all industries that do not possess an active web presence are set to fall behind their competitors, if they have not already, and that effective marketing involves accurately and honestly exposing your company values, mission and personality.
As a result, Varley Group has adopted a proactive and engaging social media strategy – telling our story and sharing our personality – which continues to boost the growth and internationalisation of our operations. Jeff and Dean were delighted to share some insights with fellow members of the HILC into how Varley have enacted this strategy throughout the past year, and how Varley Group plans to continuously grow our presence into the future.
