Varley Group hosts work experience students

Jordan Miller and Vivian Farragher, both of Callaghan College Newcastle.

Throughout the past few weeks, Varley Group has been pleased to host work experience students Jordan Miller and Vivian Farragher, both of Callaghan College in Newcastle.

Jordan and Vivian both experienced daily life in Tomago’s main workshops, working alongside a number of Varley employees and witnessing large-scale manufacturing in action.

Both students noted the various skills and “tips and tricks” that they picked up during their time in at Varley, as well as that the experience has inspired them to pursue trade-related career paths in future.

Jordan quoted that his time spent with Varley was “enjoyable and rewarding”, and that he “learnt a lot about workplace ethics” and “would like to come back in future”.

Our thanks to Jordan and Vivian for their efforts throughout their time with us, and we look forward to hosting additional work experience students in future. Please contact us with any related enquiries.
