Eagles aiming for a hat-trick!

What a weekend ahead for the Edgeworth Eagles Football Club!

The club have pulled off an amazing feat and secured Grand Final spots in all 3 senior grades.

The First Grade NPL side, following a miraculous season that included a minor premiership and progression to the latter stages of the FFA Cup, booked their spot in the Grand Final on the away goals rule, with 3-3 and 0-0 draws with Broadmeadow Magic in the two-legged semi-finals. The Eagles have not won the First Grade title since 2010, and will be looking to become major premiers with a win over Hamilton Olympic this weekend. In addition, the Under 22s side will face the Emerging Jets, and the Under 19s will take on Broadmeadow Magic in the other grades.

All at Varley congratulate the Eagles on reaching the Grand Final in all 3 senior grades, and wish the club the best of luck this weekend!
