Varley Group is proud to announce that we have acquired a new business; Access Services Australia’s WA-based service division at 14 Tipping Road, Kewdale WA. The new business will be absorbed into Varley’s existing EWP Service brand, which was originally acquired from Mr Glenn Barnett (2nd from left back row, pictured) as Varley’s initial step into the Western Australian EWP service market in 2014.

With the addition of the new facility and capabilities, EWP Service will primarily offer service, inspections, repairs and rebuilds of self-propelled scissor and boom lifts, track-mounted, trailer-mounted and truck-mounted elevated work platforms, along with the sale of spare parts for all EWP products.  With a fleet of fully stocked service utes and skilled service technicians work can be carried out both on and off site. The business will also continue to act as an agent for Access Service Australia, providing quality service to their already established national customer base.

The facility in Kewdale will also be utilised as a local WA service unit for all Varley built vehicles – including ambulances, police vehicles, trailers, vans and fire appliances, among others – catering to both one-off owners and national fleets.

An added bonus of this acquisition is that Varley’s staff numbers will grow by 9, which will further benefit the company through the incorporation of new ideas, skills and knowledge within the extensive Varley team.

Varley is certain that the expansion of the EWP Service branch of the Group will further enhance the leading reputation – as innovators, manufacturers and customer service specialists – already held by the Company.
