Varley Rail were delighted to service the 5917 locomotive (pictured) ahead of Hunter Valley Steamfest on the weekend.
This beautiful steam train dates back to 1953, when it was originally built as an oil locomotive before converting to steam power in 1961. Today, this 5917 is the only locomotive from its class still in operation.
Varley were proud to carry out the servicing of 5917 and keep such a magnificent beauty active and free for the general public to admire into the future.
